Zuva Petroleum is an integrated energy company with a focus on hydrocarbon sources. In the bid to expand its operations as well as promote the use of sustainable energy, the company is strategically exploring clean and renewable energy solutions. The corporate is therefore looking for a business minded, innovative and strategy driven person to drive this vision as General Manager – Renewable Energy, based in Harare.

The role reports to the Chief Executive Officer.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develops and executes the company’s strategic vision and initiatives to drive growth, profitability, and market leadership.
Provide visionary leadership and set clear goals and objectives for all departments and employees.
Builds and maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
Monitors industry trends, competitive landscape, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and risks.
Leads the development and implementation of effective sales and marketing strategies to expand the company’s customer base and maximize revenue.
Oversees financial performance, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensures financial sustainability and optimal utilisation of resources.
Champions continuous improvement initiatives and drives operational efficiencies across all functions.
Nurtures a high-performance culture by attracting, developing, and retaining top talent.
Represents the company in public forums, industry associations, and community engagements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Degree in Commerce or Engineering (Marketing, Finance, Economics, Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, or equivalent).
Master’s in Business Administration and Project Management Qualifications are added advantages.
Post Graduate Qualification in Renewable Energy or in related field is a distinct added advantage.
Clean Class 4 driver’s licence.
A minimum of 6 years’ experience in Senior Management in the commercial or engineering field.
