About the Role
Our client in the steel industry is seeking a seasoned and results-driven General Manager to lead and oversee all operational aspects of the company. This includes managing production, sales, marketing, and finance functions to ensure efficient business performance and long-term sustainability.
The ideal candidate must possess strong leadership skills, extensive experience in high-paced manufacturing environments, and a solid track record of driving operational excellence and strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage day-to-day operations across all business functions.

Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and profitability.

Oversee production efficiency, quality control, and cost management.

Manage cross-functional teams including sales, finance, and technical operations.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.

Report to the board on company performance and key metrics.
Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Master’s degree is required.

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance.

Proven ability to lead and manage teams effectively.

Excellent strategic planning, financial acumen, and communication skills.
