Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fll the following positions at the University of Zimbabwe
GENERAL MANAGER (1 POST)
Duties and Responsibilities
Establishing and updating corporate goals and objectives, business philosophy, short and longterm
business plans for the company.
Ensuring the growth and protection of the company’s market share.
Overseeing all the operations of the company, including supervision of staff.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
The ideal applicant must possess the following qualification:
At least a Master’s degree in Production
Engineering, Business Management or related field.
A strong leader with good interpersonal skills.
A self-motivated, proven performer with a strong
management track record.
High computer literacy.
An individual who works with minimum
supervision and can motivate fellow staff.
Mature, creative individual with the ability to work under pressure and to balance competing
priorities and meeting deadlines.
At least 10 years’ working experience in a senior managerial position, preferably in a production
engineering environment
