Job Summary

Tsapo Group of companies is a fast-growing organisation in the motor industry and is seeking to employ the services of General Manager responsible for day to day operations of its SBUs. The units specializes in vehicle tracking and the other specialize in selling of motor vehicle parts.

Duties And Responsibilities

1. Formulates SBU objectives in line with Group Operations Manager to ensure the business achieves its obligations.
   2. Review and monitor the business to ensure that objectives are achieved.
   3. Guides the business and create a culture of delivery, and create the required leadership and direction into the future.
   4. Creates the measures of business success to ensure that strategic objectives are attained or exceeded.
   5. Formulate, develop and implement strategies to manage the external environment in a way that benefits the business.
   6. Set performance targets and manage subordinates’ performance.
   7. Formulating of SBU budget and reviewing it accordingly.
   8. Ensure full understanding of Finance Policies and ensure compliance within the SBU as a whole.
   9. Design localized promotions to increase brand visibility, preference. growth and sales dominance.

Qualifications And Experience

1. Master in Business Administration.
   2. Degree in Marketing Management or Business Studies or Transport and Logistics management.
   3. Strong background in business management or sales and marketing.
   4. Technical appreciation of tracking devices and proven experience in motor vehicle tracking from reputable vehicle tracking companies is an added advantage.
   5. Proven and traceable experience in motor vehicle spare parts.
   6. At least 5 years’ experience in senior management position.
   7. A clean class 4 Driver’s licence.
