Job Description

A newly established Savings Club based in Harare is looking for a General Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

The ideal candidate should be a proven and seasoned banker with lending, corporate banking, investment banking and operations experience.
The candidate must be innovative, a self starter, proactive, analytical and have good leadership skills

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications
1. A Bachelors Degree in Banking, Commerce or equivalent qualification.
Diploma in Banking.
2. Masters in Business Administration.
Experience
1. At least 6 years experience in senior management in a bank at these levels , Assistant General Manager or Head of Units or General Manager level.
2. Must have experience as an all rounder banker in lending, risk management, corporate banking, product lanch & marketing and SME’s management.
3. Experience of interacting with all stakeholders within the banking sector, ministry of finance, Reserve Bank of zimbabwe, other financial institutions among others.
4. Experience of dealing with all internal staff at all levels and leading by example.
