Windmill (Pvt.) Ltd is a leading manufacturer of fertilizers, agro-chemical products and animal feeds and is a household name throughout Zimbabwe. As a result of expanding our product range within the Company’s depot network, a position of General Hand has arisen in one of our depots located in Harare. Reporting to the Invoicing Clerk.
Key Responsibilities
- To load fertilizer received, stored and dispatched from the depot.
- To receive stock in an orderly manner from production.
- To load fertilizer from the depot to customers.
- To maintain good housekeeping, health and safe working standards.
- To maintain and encourage good working relations with internal and external customers.
- To carry out any other duties as delegated.
- Reports on health and safety hazards at work place and takes corrective action if possible.
- Attends daily safety talks at which SHEQMS is a permanent agenda.
Requirements
- At least 5 O level passes.
- Knowledge of ISO 14001:2015 (EMS), ISO 9001:2015 (QMS) and OHSMS 45001:2018 is also an added advantage.
- Be a results-driven achiever with a commitment to excellence and with high levels of energy.
