GENDER AND SOCIAL SERVICES CLERK – Zvishavane Town Council 82 views

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Community Services Officer, the responsibilities of the Gender and Social Services Clerk are:
• Participate in planning, organizing, and coordinating of Welfare activities.
• Conduct awareness campaigns and mobilize the community to participate in various sporting disciplines.
• Identify training needs for community clubs.
• Coordinate Gender Mainstreaming and Social Inclusion in Council operations
• Provide Gender and Social Inclusion technical guidance and support to departments, the interdepartmental Gender Committee, and ensure integration at the operational level.
• Coordinate and facilitate training for various informal business entrepreneurs and clubs.
• Participate in the operations of preschools and care homes.
• Supervise subordinates
• Perform any other duties within the scope of this job as assigned by superiors from time to time.

Requirements

• Diploma in Social Work, Community Development/ Equivalent
• 5 ‘O’ Levels including English language.
• At least two years post-qualification experience
• A citizen of Zimbabwe
• No criminal record (Attach Police clearance)
• A clean record of service within the local government fraternity, where applicable.
