Responsible for planning and organising of installations and repairs on the water and sewer distribution network to ensure the continuous provision of water and sewer services to communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Plans and prepares for the maintenance and repair of water and sewer distribution network.
- Prepares inspection schedules for water and wastewater pump stations.
- Conduct blockage fixing and attend to leakages in valves, meters and liaise with the Plumber attending to those areas.
- Performance monitoring and management.
- Develop and submit progress reports to the Superintendent on operational issues carried out.
Requirements
- Skilled Worker Class “1” Plumbing Certificate.
- National Craft Certificate in Plumbing / Drain laying.
- Drainlayers licence.
- Clean Class four (4) drivers licence a must.
- Five (5) years’ post qualifying experience (POST A)
- Team player
- Good communication skills
- Ability to manage stakeholders
- Problem solving skills
