FORECOURT ATTENDANTS (MUREHWA) x 12

Job Summary

The Fuel Attendants will be expected to welcome, direct and serve customers at the forecourt. They will dispense fuel into customer vehicles, sell lubricants and receive payments and ensure the cash is reconciled at the end of the shift. They will also be responsible for keeping the forecourt area clean and safe at all times.

DUTIES

* Directs customer vehicles at the forecourt.
* Politely welcomes and communicates professionally with customers
* Dispenses the right fuel into customer vehicles
* Receives cash and or electronic payments for the fuel dispensed/ or lubes sold
* Issues cash receipts to customers that would have bought fuel or lubes
* Ensures that the forecourt equipment (pump, hose, nozzle) are in good working condition including critical safety equipment and to quickly report to the supervisor on any malfunction
* Reconciles cash on hand against fuel/lubes sales during the shift for remittance
* Ensures good housekeeping at the forecourt area
* Provides excellent customer service by checking and replenishing oil and tyre pressure and cleaning windscreens for customer vehicles
* Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time

Qualifications and Experience

* Minimum of 5 Ordinary Level subjects including Mathematics
* Basic Customer Care Knowledge
* Basic Safety and Health knowledge
* Previous experience in the fuel industry will be added advantage
