FOOD AND BEVERAGE MANAGER
REPORTING DIRECTLY TO THE GENERAL MANAGER
Duties
⦁ Manage and oversee the daily operation of the restaurant, bar, room service and banqueting department
⦁ Ensure Food and Beverage procedures, operational and administrative systems and controls are in place
⦁ Participate in the department’s budget formulation and implementation
⦁ Revenue control, responsible for the Food and Beverage departments financial performance and long-term sustainability
⦁ Control F & B costs
⦁ Preparation of weekly and monthly management reports
⦁ Interacting with guests to receive valuable feedback
⦁ Ensuring that the cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant, stores and bars are of the highest standard
⦁ Training and mentorship of subordinates
Qualifications and Experience
⦁ Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management or equivalent from a recognized university
⦁ A Masters Degree in a similar field is an added advantage
⦁ At least 3 years of experience in a similar post
⦁ Ability to work under pressure
⦁ Good leadership skills
⦁ No criminal record
