Job Description
A florist is responsible for creating and arranging floral displays, bouquets, and decorations for various occasions such as weddings, funerals, and events. They provide expert knowledge on flower selection, care, and design to meet customer needs and preferences.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Prepare various floral arrangements including bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages
-Arrange flowers in vases or containers for delivery or sale
-Gather supplies and create arrangements based on client specifications or artistic designs
-Advise clients on flower combinations and occasion-specific suggestions
-Package and prepare flowers to prevent breakages
Qualifications and Experience
-To have worked in a flower shop and managed for a minimum of two years
