Our client, a renowned manufacturer in the precision engineering sector and manufacturer of industrial gearboxes, winches, and hoists, is seeking experienced Fitters to join their team. The ideal candidates should have a strong background in fitting and machining.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Skilled in mechanical fitting, assembly, and maintenance of machinery, components, and structures.

• Ability to work from engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances.

• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, grinders, presses, and drills.

• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems (assembly, maintenance, and fault finding).

• Competent in using micrometers, vernier callipers, dial indicators, and gauges.

Experience & skills:

• Minimum 5 years in a precision engineering or heavy industrial workshop.
