FITTER AND TURNER

Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced, self-motivated and results oriented individuals to fill the above position within a food processing company.

Ideal candidate responsibilities include:

> General maintenance of plant and equipment. > Responding to emergency breakdowns in the factory production lines. > Fit and assemble metal parts, tools or sub-assemblies, including welding or brazing parts. > Able to work on the Leth, Milling Machine and Shaper. > Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is required. > Proactively identify and implement improvements to operational machines. > Knowledge of boiler making and argon gas welding is an added advantage

Requirements of the job > Must have more than 5 years’ experience in an industrial environment. > Should be a Skilled Worker Class 1. > Must be a vibrant and have dynamic personality with a lot of energy. > Strong technical and skills, plus ability to build and foster a positive team environment. > Must have initiative, drive and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. > Should have a demonstrable track record of achievement.
