Gokwe Town Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following positions.
5. FIREMAN (GRADE 4)
Reporting to the Station Officer
5.1 Key Result Areas
Responding to incidents, fire and emergency calls
Inspect and implement health and safety regulations in commercial, industrial and residential properties.
Co-ordinate with local police and ambulance services departments.
Monitor and maintain vehicles, equipment, hydrants and water supplies.
Preparing detailed incident reports.
Provision of fire safety by attending talks, seminars and training sessions.
5.2 Qualifications and Experience
A minimum of 5 Ordinary Levels including Mathematics, Science and English Language.
Fire Fighter Certificate
Lion Fire tender training is an added advantage.
Clean Class two (2) Drivers’ License.
At least one (1) year relevant experience.
Not more than 55 years of age.
