Our client in the Insurance Sector seeks applications from qualified, experienced and self- driven candidates for the Fire Prevention Inspection Bureau Manager position.
Purpose of Post
The purpose of this ab is to safeguarding people’s lives and properties by planning, formulating, implementing, and supervising
Principle Accountabilities
- Contributes to strategy planning to understand the strategic direction of the business and develop FPIB strategies in support of the mandate and implement accordingly.
- Budgets cost controls to provide all the operational and financial information required for the budgets to ensure that all expected expenditures are well planned for.
- Approves building designs to Input specific requirements into the planning and design architecture for the customers ensuring that set by laws and standards are observed
- Manages to stay abreast of all new policies and standards for fire prevention and educates organisations on these
- Initiates the Bureau related projects and manage suck projects until their completion, the incumbent will align and direct engineering investments in line with objectives.
- Supervises standards to manage day to day duties of all subordinates to ensure all employees within the department are performing in accordance to set policies and expected
MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS
The idle incumbent must possess the following minimum educational qualifications and
experience:
- Degree in Insurance Fraud/Risk Management or Engineering
- Qualification on IFE Fire Code and Model Building Bye Laws
- A registered member of ASIB/Institute of Fire Engineers
- 5-7 years’ relevant experience
- 3 years at senior managerial
- Analytic Thinking, Organisational Commitment and ICT Literacy
