Responsible for fire risk control and general oversight of fire policies as applicable to harvesting operations by applying solid knowledge and practices of fire safety codes and regulations.
Duties And Responsibilities
• Performing regular fire safety inspections for all harvesting operations.
• Generating and enforcing safety policies and procedures that would safeguard lives, equipment and machinery.
• Operating, maintaining and servicing firefighting equipment and related machinery.
• Performing firefighting training like conducting drills and physical fitness.
• Preparing monthly reports covering inspection results, training administered and any fire incidents within the operations.
• Attending to emergencies that could involve lifesaving, property and public safety.
• Participating and providing public education on general fire safety.
Qualifications And Experience
• Accreditation as a Fire Officer.
• Diploma in Fire Science/related.
• At least 5 years’ experience.
• A team player with good communication skills.
• Clean Class 2 Drivers License and valid defensive certificate.
