FINANCIAL CONTROLLER 240 views

This is an opportunity for a specialist to become a key member to the groups leadership team and will work closely with the General Manager, Group Financial Controller, and CFO. The Financial controller will be instrumental in business planning, providing financial insights, innovating financial operations and ensuring commercial effectiveness. The role will offer a senior finance leader depth and a variety of exciting challenges in an industry that forms a critical service to our communities.

Key responsibilities:

• Assessing overall financial operations and making recommendations for improvements.
• Driving transformational change.
• Leadership, engagement and retention of an effective team though coaching, mentoring and identifying development opportunities within people.
• Partnering and working collaboratively with key stakeholders to provide strategic financial leadership and ensuring strong financial performance.
• Providing effective financial strategic direction, financial modelling and meaningful financial insights to the business stakeholders.
• Effectively manage commercial contracts.
• Oversee business planning, monthly and annual reporting and provide commentary and detailed analysis to stakeholders.
• Oversee the development of financial systems to improve financial reporting, reduce costs and ensure compliance.
