a Position of Finance Officer

Based at Head Office in Harare, a position of Finance Officer has arisen in an agri-business conglomerate, with five subsidiaries. The position requires a detail-oriented person with superior financial management acumen.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Preparation and Analysis of financial statements.
2. Managing general ledger and reconciliations.
3. Ensuring legal and tax compliance.
4. Periodic submission of financial reports.
5. Consolidating and finalizing audit review queries before sign off.
6. Assisting in Budgeting and Budgetary Control.
7. Supervision of support staff.

The Qualifications of this Position includes any of the following:

1. A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and or ACCA or CIMAor CIS from a reputable Institution.
2. Possession of a Master’s Degree being a distinct advantage.
3. Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience of which 3 years should be at supervisory level.
4. Possession of a clean Class 4 driver’s license being an added advantage.
