Position Overview

 

 

We are seeking a Finance Director to lead our financial strategy and operations. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in financial management, budgeting, and reporting, and a passion for supporting the growth of the handicraft sector.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

 

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the organization’s mandate.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
  • Monitor financial performance and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support program initiatives and funding efforts.
  • Manage financial risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

 

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in financial management, preferably in the non-profit or cultural sector.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
