Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with capturing financial transactions in the accounting system and maintaining accurate accounting records.
  • Support the preparation of payment vouchers, invoices, receipts and other financial documentation.
  • Assist with processing payments and maintaining supporting documentation.
  • Support bank, petty cash and mobile money reconciliations.
  • Assist with maintaining cashbooks, ledgers, registers and financial filing systems.
  • Support the preparation of monthly financial reports, budget tracking reports and expenditure analyses.
  • Assist with reviewing programme expenditures against approved budgets.
  • Support the preparation and liquidation of staff and programme advances.
  • Assist with maintaining accurate records of accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Support internal and external audit processes by retrieving and organising required documentation.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with BOOST financial policies, donor requirements and applicable statutory obligations.
  • Assist with obtaining quotations and preparing procurement documentation.

  • Assist with preparing purchase requisitions, purchase orders and goods-received documentation.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a closely related discipline.
