FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR

1. Liases with banks for balances and confirms with cashbooks on a daily basis
2. Write up cash books and posts in the accounting system daily.
3. Imports and review postings into the bank by supervisors for accuracy daily.
4. Files Finance Department correspondence daily.
5. Disburses petty cash as approved, posts and updates petty cash book daily
6.Liaises with external counter parties to ensure delivery of approved security on money investments.
7. Performs bank statement reconciilations monthly.
8. Maintains up to date records and reconciles scrip/stock from counter parties or issuers continuously.
9. Executes payment instructions to the banks daily.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of a Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent or significant progress tow studying for a relevant professional qualification.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience with accounting packages in an accounting environment
• Supervisory experience would be an added advantage
• A clean. traceable working background.

• Must be conversant with figures and a high degree of accuracy is required.
• Must be self- driven with ability and willingness to take initiative.
