Key Responsibilities:
– Operate and monitor filter press equipment
– Optimize press cycles for moisture reduction
– Conduct routine maintenance and inspections
– Monitor feed slurry quality and adjust parameters
– Record operational data (e.g., cycle times, cake moisture)
– Troubleshoot mechanical issues and report abnormalities
– Adhere to strict safety protocols
– Coordinate with process technicians and supervisors
Qualifications:
– Certificate/Diploma in Mineral Processing
– Valid forklift license (advantageous)
Experience:
– 1+ years in mining/mineral processing
– Experience with Larox, Outotec, or similar filter presses
– Basic understanding of slurry chemistry and dewatering
