POST 1- FIELD TECHNICIAN FOR AGRONOMY SECTION (1 POST)
Qualifications and Experience
BSc Honors Degree in Agronomy/ Crop Science
Diploma in Agriculture is an added advantage
At least 2 years of work experience at a Crop research station or a commercial farm or tertiary institution
Applicants to prove in an interview that they possess the Agronomic practical skills for both open-field and greenhouse experiments.
Duties And Responsibilities
Facilitating field practicals on campus and off campus
Management of field trials
Data collection and data analysis
Procurement and requisition of field equipment and consumables
Keeping an inventory of equipment and consumables
Assist in any other business assigned by the department
