Job Title: Field Agents x10

Key Responsibilities

  • Register new customers, including individuals, dependants, and small community groups.
  • Explain coverage, benefits, and procedures clearly and simply.
  • Support timely premium payments and follow-ups to maintain customer retention.
  • Respond to basic customer queries and escalate complex issues to Supervisors/Operations staff.
  • Assist with claims submission and verification of required documentation under guidance.
  • Maintain accurate customer and group records, including updates in databases and trackers.
  • Submit daily/weekly activity reports to assigned Supervisors.
  • Follow guidance from Supervisors/Operations for portfolio management.
  • Support training or refresher sessions for new or junior agents when requested.
  • Provide feedback on trends, challenges, and customer queries to inform operational improvements.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 O-Level passes, including English and Mathematics.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in sales, customer service, or field agent work (insurance, microfinance, retail, or community programs preferred).
  • Basic computer literacy; comfortable using mobile money apps and WhatsApp for submitting forms.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to explain complex ideas simply.
  • Honest, trustworthy, and comfortable sensitive customer information.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in the field.
  • Willing to attend training sessions and follow operational guidelines.
