FARMS BUSINESS UNIT MANAGER

Our client, a growing agricultural entity, is seeking a proactive and dynamic Farms Business Unit Manager with specialized agricultural knowledge. The role focuses on business development and revenue growth, involves frequent travel between farms, and requires an entrepreneurial mindset to source customers, negotiate with suppliers, and provide recommendations across the business.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Crop Science OR Business-Related Degree.
• Relevant post-graduate qualification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 10 years’ experience in leadership or management roles within the agricultural sector.
• Experience in administration or project management within the agricultural sector.
• Hands on experience in these areas is REQUIRED: Pecan trees, Blueberries, Broilers, Cattle (beef and breeding), Horticulture and Grain crops.
• Hands on experience in these areas is advantageous: Sugarcane, Avocados, Marijuana, Dairy, Piggery and Goats.
