Our client is looking for a Farm Manager who will run the daily operations of their farm and ensure the effective and efficient cultivation and harvesting of crops for export. The candidate should be a hands-on business minded person who will manage all aspects of the production process, helping to make sure that crops go smoothly from seedbed to the market.

Duties and Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

▪ Planning, budgets, forecasts, implementing, managing and monitoring of agricultural activities and productivity.
▪ Develops and manages agricultural information systems for use in the setting up of crop production targets and resource utilization efficiency parameters.
▪ Directs and coordinates worker activities, such as planting, irrigation, chemical application and harvesting.
▪ Formulate plant protection and nutrition programmes and ensures adherence to good agronomic practices.
▪ Manages Farm Workers

Qualifications and Experience

▪ Diploma/ BSc Degree in Agriculture/ Agricultural Engineering/ Crop Management
▪ 10 years’ experience in Horticulture
▪ Horticulture crop production and management;
▪ Good agronomic practices;
▪ Knowledgeable of Agricultural chemicals;
▪ Horticulture planning and implementation;
