About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Farm Manager to lead the daily operations of our mixed farming enterprise. The farm specializes in crop production, horticulture, and animal husbandry, including broilers, goats, pigs, and cattle. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, practical knowledge of both crop and livestock production, and a passion for sustainable, efficient farming practices.
Key Responsibilities
Crop Production

Plan and manage all stages of crop cultivation: planting, irrigation, fertilization, pest and weed control, and harvesting.

Monitor crop health, diagnose diseases and pests, and implement integrated pest management techniques.

Keep accurate records on crop yields, inputs, soil conditions, and weather trends.
Livestock & Animal Husbandry

Oversee feeding, breeding, health, and general welfare of livestock.

Implement nutrition plans, vaccination schedules, and parasite control measures.

Monitor animal health and ensure timely treatment and veterinary care.
Staff Supervision

Lead, train, and supervise a team of farm workers to ensure high productivity and safe operations.

Develop staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance.

Promote a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work culture.
Equipment & Infrastructure

Ensure regular maintenance and safe operation of farm machinery, irrigation systems, tools, and buildings.

Oversee repairs and infrastructure improvements to support efficient farm operations.
Financial Oversight

Support budget development and financial planning activities.

Track farm expenses, income, and profitability; identify opportunities for cost reduction and revenue growth.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Agriculture, Animal Science, Horticulture, or a related field.

At least 5 years of experience in a farm management role or similar leadership capacity.

Demonstrated success in managing both crop and livestock production operations.

Valid driver’s license and ability to operate farm equipment.
