PROFILE DESCRIPTION

Qualifications and Experience:

• Recognized university Honours degree in Geology
• Experience in Great Dyke of Zimbabwe & greenstone belts geology and mineralization
• At least 8 years relevant experience in exploration and mining geology
• Computer literate (ArcGis, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• 3-Dsof tware (Datamine/Vulcan) experience will be an added advantage
• Clean class 4 drivers licence

WORK OUTPUT DESCRIPTION

Technical work responsibilities:

• Field investigations, geological mapping, geological interpretation and modeling
• Exploration programs planning, implementation and management
• Implement exploration standards and procedures including SHEQ issues
• Database creation and management
• Manage all contractors (drilling, logging and sampling, trenching and others as required)
• Ensure SAMREC compliance in all exploration activities
• QAQC: core logging, sampling and core yard management
• Train and develop junior Geologists and support personnel

• Achieve and maintain a robust geological database
