PROFILE DESCRIPTION
Qualifications and Experience:
- Recognized university Honours degree in Geology
- Experience in Great Dyke of Zimbabwe & greenstone belts geology and mineralization
- At least 8 years relevant experience in exploration and mining geology
- Computer literate (ArcGis, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- 3-Dsof tware (Datamine/Vulcan) experience will be an added advantage
- Clean class 4 drivers licence
WORK OUTPUT DESCRIPTION
Technical work responsibilities:
- Field investigations, geological mapping, geological interpretation and modeling
- Exploration programs planning, implementation and management
- Implement exploration standards and procedures including SHEQ issues
- Database creation and management
- Manage all contractors (drilling, logging and sampling, trenching and others as required)
- Ensure SAMREC compliance in all exploration activities
- QAQC: core logging, sampling and core yard management
- Train and develop junior Geologists and support personnel

- Achieve and maintain a robust geological database
