Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
The position requires an individual with:-
- Master of Arts or Master of Science Degree in Media related area.
- Bachelor of Arts Degree in a Media related area.
- An excellent understanding of the use of Audio editing software like Audacity and Logic Pro
- The ability to edit and upload UP Sounds for live Radio Productions.
- A good understanding of the concept of production and radio programs in the areas of news and current affairs, Radio Documentaries, Radio Talk Shows, Radio
- Discussions, Music Shows and Drama.
- More than one year of University teaching Experience in the Media.
- Knowledge of software like Adobe Encoder, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Premier Pro will be an added advantage
Duties and responsibilities
The successful candidate must be able to:-
- Oversees program production processes
- • Be in-charge of all programs produced by all station producers
- Assigns programs ideas to station producers
- Supervise scripting, proposal writing for all program genres
