VACANCIES NOTICE
The main purpose of this position is to provide strategic leadership and effective management of the human resources and administration functions of council
Key Responsibilities
- Recruitment and Selection of council employees.
- Administering the payroll and being proficient in the Belina Payroll System.
- Human Capital planning
- Facilitating the formulation of policies.
- Advising council on labour issues
- Managing production of council minutes
- Management of council assets
- Maintain and updating the council resolution book
- Preparation, Management and Control of departmental budgets
- Preparation and distribution of agendas and notices of meetings for council committees
- Coordinate and provide secretariat to all Council committees
Requirements
- Degree from a recognized University in Human Resources, Local Government, or Social Science degree.
- Relevant Master’s Degree, Diploma in Local Government or IPMZ is an added advantage
- Must be computer literate.
- A clean Class 4 driver’s license
- At least 5 years post qualification experience in middle or senior management in administrative position.
- At least 30 years of age and mature.
- A clean record of service.
