The Excavator Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Tractor Loader Backhoe for excavation, loading, back-filling & other site works related to stand development and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate an excavator to excavate trenches, load materials, backfill & level ground.
  • Carry out daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on the Excavator.
  • Work closely with site supervisors to meet daily targets.
  • Ensure safe operation around workers, services & equipment.
  • Report any mechanical faults or damage immediately.
  • Keep operator logs and assist with site cleanliness.

Requirements

  • Valid Class 2 or 4 drivers license with Excavator endorsement.
  • Minimum 3 years proven experience operating an Excavator on construction or civil works.
  • Knowledge of basic Excavator maintenance & fault reporting.
  • Physically fit & willing to work in outdoor conditions.
  • Safety-conscious & reliable. A certificate of competency is an added advantage.
