Job Description
Applications are invited from suitably qualified, experienced, self-motivated, and task-oriented individuals to fill the above position that has arisen within the City’s Health Services Department.
Duties and Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The incumbent will be reporting to the Environmental Health Officer and will be responsible for:
Control of public health nuisances
Diseases Investigation
Community Health Education
Control of hawkers and vendors
Dog and Animal Control
Any other duty assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications and Experience
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Diploma in Environmental Health
5 ‘O’ Levels including English Language and Mathematics
Clean class 3 or 4 driver’s license is an added advantage
Registration with the Environmental Health Practitioners Council is a must
At least one year experience in a similar environment
