Gokwe Town Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the following positions.
2. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN (Grade 8)
Reporting to: Environmental Health Officer
2.1 Key Result Areas
Infectious disease surveillance, investigation, control and contact tracing.
Premises inspections/health inspections for licensing, routine and control investigations.
Water and food quality monitoring.
Solid waste management.
Community health and hygiene education.
Construction of health reports.
Any other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Environmental Health Officer.
2.2 Qualifications and Experience
A Diploma/Degree in Environmental Health or equivalence.
A valid EHPCZ practising certificate.
At least one year relevant experience.
Not more than 55 years of age.
