ENVIROMENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN GRADE 12
DUTIESAND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To ensure the provision of environmental public health services to the residents through disease control, waste management, pest control and other public issues.
- Inspection of premises and recommend for licensing.
- Investigate infectious disease and recommend intervention measures.
- Data compilation before submission to the Senior Environmental Health Officer.
- Carryout health and hygiene education activities.
- Active surveillance of infectious diseases.
- Coordinate TB programs as a focal person.
