The Zimbabwe Tourism Authority, a Parastatal within the Ministry of Environment, Climate, Tourism, and Hospitality Industry,
invites applications from interested candidates who wish to be considered for the following positions:
ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT OFFICER XI

Reporting Structure
The incumbent reports to Company Secretary.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Conducts risk assessments which include ongoing analysis of existing risks and the identification of new or emerging risks and keeps pace with any changes in the risk profiles and the external risk landscape.
2. Assists and manages the risk management process across the organization.
3. Leads the development and review of risk plans and procedures as well as the coordination and implementation of risk policies and procedures.
4. Guides the integration of enterprise risk management with other organizational planning and management activities.
5. Liaises with Departmental Heads in ensuring completion of departmental risk registers and management thereof.
6. Compiles and manages the Corporate Risk Register.
7. Identifies training needs for risk management
8. Monitors implementation of action plans to ensure risk and mitigation efforts are proceeding as required.
9. Develop, maintain, and implement business continuity and disaster recovery strategies
10. Develop contingency plans to deal with organizational emergencies
11. Conduct business impact analysis for all the functions of the ZTA
12. Assists the Company Secretary in preparing board papers for Risk & Compliance.
13. Any other duties as assigned.

Person Specification (knowledge, skills & abilities)

1. Strong analytical interpersonal and multi-tasking skills.
2. Practical knowledge of ERM as well as risk management/project management.
3. Good people management and coordination skills

Qualifications

1. A relevant Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or equivalent.
2. A Master’s degree in Risk Management or equivalent is an added advantage.
3. Relevant professional certification in Risk Management
Minimum of three years experience at the managerial level in Risk Management
