Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and qualified English Teacher to provide high-quality instruction to students from Form 1 to Form 6. The ideal candidate will be committed to academic excellence, holistic development, and positively contributing to the school community through professional teaching and co-curricular involvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging English lessons to Form 1–6 students in line with the curriculum.

• Maintain accurate classroom records, including attendance registers and learner progress.

• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student performance and development.

• Contribute to the development and improvement of school policies, learning materials, and academic programs.

• Maintain a stimulating and organized classroom environment, including display of student work.

• Lead by example in conduct, dress, and professionalism.

• Ensure all lessons are well-prepared, student-centered, and effectively delivered.

• Foster a positive learning environment that encourages respect, good manners, and enthusiasm.

• Actively participate in co-curricular activities, school events, and teacher development programs.

• Stay updated and aligned with the Zimbabwe Curriculum Framework and best teaching practices.

Qualifications and Experience

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 5 O’ Levels, including Mathematics and English

• A Diploma or Degree in Education (Secondary Teaching), with at least 5 years of teaching experience

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in English or a related field will be an added advantage
