ROLE TITLE: ENGINEERING PLANNER

1. PROFILE DESCRIPTION

Qualifications and Experience:

• Recognized trade qualification from a reputable technical college
• Class 1 Artisan Fitter/Electrician
• Project management and execution experience
• 5-8 years’ experience as an Engineering Planner
• Working knowledge of maintenance scheduling and planning software
• High levels of proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint
• Crusher, Spirals and Conveying Systems experience
• Clean, class 4 drivers’ licence

2. WORK OUTPUT DESCRIPTION

The role is responsible keeping the plant available in support of production activities in line with the daily, weekly, monthly and annual budgets

Core work outputs:

• Ensure Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to
• Scheduling and Planning for all Engineering activities
• Supervising and controlling all fixed and mobile plant inspections
• Management of equipment history files
• Shutdown planning and scheduling
• Engineering reporting
• Engineering cost tracking and reporting
• Critical spares management
• Warehouse inventory management
• Statutory compliance
