Job Summary

The Zimbabwe National Water Authority (ZINWA) is Inviting applications from suitably qualified, mature, honest and substantially experienced persons for appointment to the above challenging positions which have arisen In the Organization.

Engineer
The applicants will be based at Head Office in Harare, reporting to the Catchment Manager.

Duties And Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES
i. Design and construction supervision of water supply stations and water conservation works.
ii. Analysis of water consumption for various water supply stations in the Catchment.
iii. Oversee the running, rehabilitation, repair, operation and maintenance of all ZINWP infrastructure, equipment and machinery in the Catchment.
iv. Carrying out and implementation of water sales budgets.
v. Production of monthly water sales statistics.
vi. Management of agreement and raw water.
vii. Training and supervision of water supplies staff.

Qualifications And Experience

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
i. Civil engineering degree from a recognized institution
ii. Membership of the Zimbabwe Institute of Engineers will be an added advantage
iii. A minimum of three years post qualification experience
iv. Must have analytical, problem solving and coordinating skills
v. Must be computer literate, honest and capable to work under minimum supervision
