Invitation for applications to conduct an end of project evaluation:
An INGO is looking for a consultant to conduct an end of project evaluation on a project on “Strengthening the capacity of youth, women and churches to promote peaceful coexistence and contribute meaningfully to development of Zimbabwe’ in Harare, Goromonzi, Binga and Marondera rural. The project is coming to an end on 30 September 2021.
The organisation is looking for a consultant or at least a team of consultants with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in project/program evaluations, social development assessment, impact assessments, or social research and rigorous analysis. The lead evaluator should have a degree in Development studies, Peace Building, Sociology, Conflict Transformation or equivalent. The consultant(s) should demonstrate a track record of doing similar work within the NGO sector and possess excellent analytical and report writing skills. The consultant(s) should be familiar with operations of NPRC, livelihoods and community cohesion. Knowledge and experience of working in peri-urban, internal displacement and rural settings and familiarity with Civil Society dynamics and operations especially in Binga, Marondera and Harare is highly desirable.
