End of Project Evaluation Consultant – ECHO Multi-purpose Cash Transfers Project to Support and Protect the Highly Marginalized Vulnerable, and at-risk Urban Households in Zimbabwe: DanChurchAid
DanChurchAid (DCA) is an international organisation working in Zimbabwe through partnership with various local organizations. DCA is seeking the services of a well-qualified and experienced consultant to conduct the final evaluation of the ‘ECHO Multi-purpose Cash Transfers Project to Support and Protect the Highly Marginalized Vulnerable, and at-risk Urban Households in Zimbabwe’ project.
The project was implemented by a consortium comprising DanChurchAid (DCA), Organisation of Rural Associations for Progress (ORAP), The Future of Hope Foundation (TFoH) and Dialogue on Shelter Trust (DoST).
The consultancy
The consultant will be responsible for conducting the final evaluation of the project to determine the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, coherence, impact and sustainability of the project. The results of the evaluation will be used for accountability to the donor, implementing partner, project stakeholders as well as feeding into the knowledge bank for DCA and its partners to improve project delivery models and practices.
Person specification
The ideal consultant to take up this position should preferably possess a Masters in Development Studies or post-graduate qualification in Development Studies, Community Development, Monitoring and Evaluation, Project Management or Food security, with good research skills and proven capacity to produce reports of high quality. Previous experience in food security and livelihoods and resilience projects and their implementation will be an added advantage.
