WORKS DEPARTMENT
(2) ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN – GRADE 9 (1 POST)
1. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES/ JOB SUMMARY
-
Program new electronic and electrical components
-
Perform routine maintenance on electronic systems
-
Troubleshoot and repair faults in electronic circuits and equipment
-
Calibrate and test electronic systems for optimal performance
-
Maintain detailed records of work and update documentation
Manage inventory of electronic parts and tools
2. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
-
A Higher National Diploma in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
-
A clean Class 4 Driver’s Licence
3. EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
-
At least 4 years’ experience in a similar work environment
