Key Responsibilities

The candidate will be required to take full charge of all key responsibilities that include but are not limited to the following:
– Scheduled maintenance repairs.
– Electrical equipment troubleshooting.
– Interpreting electrical diagrams and manuals.
– Doing shift work.
– Carrying out checklists.
– Electrical installations in the factory or Bakery depots.
– Filling in job cards and logging jobs done on CMMS.
– Housekeeping.
– Involvement in continuous improvement programs.
– Ensuring plant machinery meets NSSA safety requirements at all times.
– Assisting mechanical colleagues whenever necessary.

Minimum Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:
– Apprenticeship trained.
– Membership to a professional body is an added advantage.
– At least two years’ experience in a food industry.
– Class 1 journeyman card.
– Computer literacy.
– A clean Class 4 driver’s license will be an added advantage.
– National Certificate in Electrical/Instrument and Control Engineering/Diploma.
– Conversant with Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley, Siemens PLCs, and drives.
