Zimbabwe Power Company (ZPC) a subsidiary of ZESA HOLDINGS is the leading generator of electrical energy in Zimbabwe and supplies the bulk of the nation’s electrical power requirements from its five power stations at Kariba, Harare, Munyati, Bulawayo, and Hwange. The company is currently undertaking a project to rehabilitate Hwange thermal power plant and is inviting suitably qualified, motivated, and experienced Zimbabwean Experts to fill the following positions that have arisen within WAPCOS Limited – a consulting firm contracted by ZPC to carry out project management consultancy services to the project. The positions will be based in Hwange, Zimbabwe.

THE POSITIONS
The positions are senior positions reporting to the WAPCOS Team Leader based at the project site. The experts in their various fields will be responsible for site supervision and offering technical advice to the ZPC project management team during project execution. The standard expectation is that the experts should have first degrees in the field of specialisation, at least 10 years post-graduation experience, willingness to travel, and tolerance of multi-cultural work environments.
Qualifications and Experience
⦁ A first Degree in the relevant field of specialization
⦁ A Post Graduate qualification is an added advantage
⦁ Full membership of a recognized professional Institution.
⦁ 10 years of post-graduation experience
⦁ Formal project management certification, for example, PRINCE 2.
