Position Summary
Reporting to: Head of Programme & Global Humanitarian Advisor
Supervises Research intern
Duration: 2 months
This is a short-term temporary assignment and it entails the following: Support the HoP and GHA on the ‘Multiplier Effect of Multipurpose E-voucher assistance research’. The research is done in Bulawayo supported by the current urban multipurpose cash transfer project.

Responsibilities
Review and identify economics or market information and data that is required for the research together with Research intern
Collect and verify data through household or market surveys
Analyses economics and market data required for the research
Support the HoP and GHA in the development of the research report

Qualifications And Experience
Skills and Qualifications
Masters or bachelor’s degree in Economics, Econometrics or Statistics.
Minimum of 2 years relevant and proven experience working in research similar scope and environment
Multi-lingual in local languages is an added advantage
Experience in urban programming knowledge of cash-based transfers
Must be able to work in a team setting and function in a culturally diverse work environment
He/she should be able to implement measures designed to monitor and implement project quality
Ability to write analyses data and develop research reports
Self-starter and ability to work with minimum supervision.
