The Durable Finance Manager will lead the finance workstream for assigned Project Finance for Permanence (PFP) deals.
The role includes developing PFP financial models, preparing and delivering finance workshops with governments and other stakeholders, and supporting technical inputs and consultations for the design of sustainable finance mechanisms.
The position reports to the Director of Durable Finance within the Financial Advisory Team.
The role is flexible within countries where The Nature Conservancy is a registered NGO and has an established office. Working hours must align with PST ±3 hours . Relocation and immigration assistance are not available.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and advance financial strategies for PFP deals in partnership with in-country and global teams.
- Develop flexible and transparent financial models incorporating different types of capital.
- Assess and design sustainable finance mechanisms.
- Support due diligence and risk assessments.
- Manage complex project work plans, deliverables, deadlines and sustainable finance workstreams.
- Coordinate with project directors and TNC global and regional teams.
- Develop and review financial models, concept notes, strategy documents and approval abstracts.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external partners, particularly government stakeholders.
- Hire and manage external consultants when additional project capacity is required.
- Assist with preparing and facilitating sustainable finance workshops and in-country consultations.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field , plus seven years of related experience, or an equivalent combination.
- Fluency in English and Spanish .
- Experience managing multiple complex tasks.
- Project management experience.
- Experience with financial issues or financial analysis.
- Ability to work with limited guidance and contribute energy and innovation towards a more sustainable future.
Salary
