We are looking for a Driver who will be collecting packages and delivering them to customers, delivering company goods and beverages. The driver will maintain logs to track routes, schedule and confirm deliveries. Their job is to operate a delivery truck or van in a safe, efficient manner to deliver packages to customers within a particular area. The driver will also be responsible for obtaining signatures from recipients when delivering large or fragile packages and office pickups.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Loading groceries, beverages into their vehicle, and deliver them to the respective branches in a timely manner.
• Arrive at destinations on schedule.
• Fulfill administrative needs like office pickup.
• Interact with clients professionally at all times
• Ensure that the vehicles are always fueled and ready for use.
• Arrange for vehicle repairs as needed.
• Keep mileage records and repair records up to date.
• Ensure that the driver is not under the influence of alcohol before driving company vehicles.

Qualifications And Experience

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
 Class 2 Driver’s license
 5 years’ experience in driving with traceable references
 Defensive Driving Certificate
 • Physical stamina and good upper body strength to lift heavy luggage, packages
Skills/Qualifications: Time management and organizational skills, good driving background/record, basic motor vehicle maintenance knowledge
