Key Responsibilities
- Operate Diamond Drilling Equipment safely and efficiently to meet daily production targets
- Set up, align and relocate Diamond Drilling Equipment at designated drilling positions
- Carry out pre-start checks and routine maintenance on Diamond Drilling Equipment
- Handle drill rods, core barrels and consumables, ensuring good core recovery and accurate labelling
- Keep accurate drilling logs and shift reports
- Supervise and guide drill assistants
- Comply with all mine and company safety, health and environmental standards
Requirements
- A recognised drilling certificate or proof of competency
- A minimum of two (2) years experience as a Driller, preferably in diamond drilling
- Must be medically fit and willing to be stationed at the mine site
