Delta Beverages is the name behind Lagers, Sparkling Beverages, Maheu and Sorghum Beer manufacturing, marketing and distribution in Zimbabwe. An exciting opportunity has arisen and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced persons to fill the above position that has arisen in the Lagers Beer Business. Incumbent will be based at Southerton Plant.

The Job

Reporting to the Sales Development Manager, the successful applicant will be, among other key challenging aspects, responsible for:

• Conducting repairs and services of draught beer equipment within the agreed time and targets for the area of operation.

• Executing and attending to special events within the time agreed.

• Advising on and recommending purchases of draught equipment and spares.

• Analyzing training needs and organizing training seminars for members of the trade in area of operation to improve their business skills.

• Serving all draught outlets in area of operation in order to maximize the company’s profitability, survival and growth in the long run.

• Implementing all approved programs including equipment allocation in the workshop or trade and executing allocated responsibilities.

• Sustaining the company’s competitive edge through making sure all draught beer equipment appearance is up to standard.

• Ensuring that all tools and equipment are properly cared for, and maintenance services are conducted with the correct tools.

• Testing draught equipment to verify that it is working perfectly before taking it to the market.

The Person

The ideal applicant should possess the following qualifications:

• National Certificate and Class 1 Journeyman Card.

• Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Apprentice Training.

• A clean Class 4 drivers license.

• Innovative with good interpersonal and analytical skills.

• Good knowledge of markets.

• Mature, highly disciplined and ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision.

• Working knowledge of SHEQ and manufacturing systems.
