Qualifications and Experience

• A first degree from a reputable institution.
• A Master’s degree in Administration, Public Management, Strategic Management, or Governance is an added advantage.
• A minimum of 5 years’ managerial experience, with at least 3 years at senior level, preferably in a Local Authority.
• Experience in housing delivery, education, health, or other social service delivery programs in a Local Authority is an added advantage.
• A results-oriented individual with a strong drive to achieve and contribute to Chiredzi Town’s development goals.
• A mature communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage at all levels and produce analytical and technical reports.
• A strategic thinker capable of long-term planning and effective problem-solving.
• Strong report-writing skills with the ability to produce compelling and convincing documents.
• Computer literate.
• A valid Class 4 driver’s license.
• No criminal record.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Planning and managing Council housing and estate operations.
• Supervising, planning, developing, and managing Council schools in coordination with the Ministry of Education.
• Facilitating the implementation of Council’s Community Services programs.
• Providing technical support to the Town Secretary on all housing, health, education, and community service matters.
